DESIGN OF HEAT EXCHANGER FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SYNTHESIS PbO PARTICLES

This study aims to develop and analyze the design of heat exchangers (HE) in synthesis PbO particles using a single precursor method. type HE shell tube one-pass is designed be simple. The specifications equipment are length 1.5200 m, diameter 0.1361 outer 0.0334 thickness 0.0243 m. Then calculation done manually Microsoft Excel application. results showed that with one pass has laminar flow, an effective value 84.66%. Therefore, this exchanger meets requirements standards based on effectiveness, but without considering fouling factor. analysis can used as learning medium process, performance, operating mechanisms.
